Reglamento de competición
Competition rules
La competición estará estructurada como una serie de mangas eliminatorias
de cuatro participantes cada una. En cada fase de la competición,
dos participantes de cada manga pasarán a la siguiente fase, y
los otros dos serán eliminados (sin perjuicio de que pudiera haber
una repesca posterior). Cada manga durará 19 minutos, con un intervalo
de 1 minuto entre mangas. Una vez comiencen las mangas, la competición
se regirá por el reloj del jefe de jueces, que dictará el comienzo
y fin de cada manga.
Competition will consist of a series of eliminatory heats
of four participants each. During any given phase of the competition,
two participants of each heat will contimue to the next phase,
and the other two will be eliminated (even though they could be
afterwards reincorporated). Each heat will be 19 minutes long,
with a 1 minute interval between heats. Once the heats start,
the competition will be ruled by the chief judge’s clock, who
will dictate the start and finish of each heat.
Se concederá trofeo a los tres primeros clasificados.
A trophy will be awarded to the first, second and third contestants.
Se seguirá un sistema de señalización por banderas, utilizando
un código de tres colores. Una bandera verde ondeará durante los
primeros 15 minutos de cada manga. En los 4 últimos, se pondrá
una bandera amarilla, y en el minuto de cambio, una bandera roja.
En caso de que se tuviera que interrumpir el campeonato, se pondría
una bandera negra.
A flag signalling system will be used, with a three color
code. During the first 15 minutes of each heat, a green flag will
be shown. In the last 4 minutes, a yellow flag will be shown,
and in the 1 minute change interval, a red flag will be shown.
In the event the championship had to be interrupted, a black flag
would be shown.
Se puntuarán hasta diez olas de cada manga, de las cuales se escogerán
las tres mejores puntuaciones.
Up to ten waves will score in each heat, of which the three
best scores will be considered.
La Competición se regirá por el Reglamento de la Organización
Mundial de Kayak-Surf. Sólo se puntuarán las maniobras autorizadas
por la reglamentación Internacional de Kayak Surf.
World Surf Kayak Association Rules apply thorough the Competition.
Only World Surf Kayak rules approved manoeuvres will be scored.
La competición estará abierta a todo tipo de piraguas, que cumplan
los requisitos de seguridad. Si se presentaran más de 16 piraguas
de Clase Internacional (*), se organizarían mangas de Clase Internacional
y de Altas Prestaciones (*). Independientemente de que las mangas
iniciales estuvieran separadas, las fases finales serían abiertas.
Competition will be open to any kind of kayak which complies
with security requirements. If 16 or more IC (*) kayaks should
compete, separate International Class and High Performance (*)
heats would be organised. Although initial heats might be separated
into IC and FS, final phases would be open.

Interferences
Las interferencias serán penalizadas de manera inapelable, con
la pérdida de la mayor puntuación la primera vez, y la eliminación
la segunda vez.
Interferences will incur in a penalty, without the possibility
to appeal, of losing the best score the first time, and the elimination
the second time.
Inscripciones
Entries
Todos los participantes deben preinscribirse antes del 29 de Abril.
Los inscritos deberán contactar con la organización 1 hora antes
del inicio de la prueba para confirmar su asistencia. El coste
de la inscripción es de 30€, cuyo previo pago es imprescindible
para participar. Este precio incluye inscripción, camiseta y cena
del sábado.
All participants must perform the pre-inscription before April
29. The applicants must acknowledge the organization, 1 hour before
the event begins, their participation. Entry fee is 30€, which
must be paid beforehand to be able to enter. Price includes entry,
t-shirt and Saturday’s dinner
Seguridad
Safety
La organización no se hace responsable de cualquier daño que pudieran
sufrir los participantes o su equipo. Cada participante debe estar
federado y/o poseer un seguro que cubra los posibles daños que
pudieran resultar de la competición.
The organisation will not be held responsible for any damage
that might suffer the participants or their equipment. Every contestant
must be federated and/or have a valid insurance which covers potential
damage that could happen from the competition.
Los participantes deberán utilizar, a lo largo de la competición,
casco y chaleco salvavidas homologado CE u otro organismo competente.
En cualquier momento, la organización podrá exigir a los participantes
que demuestren que son capaces de esquimotear con soltura y de
nadar en una rompiente. Los participantes deberán estar dispuestos
a ayudar, si se les requiriese, a otros participantes que lo necesitaran.
Las piraguas tendrán asas en ambos extremos, o bien estarán provistas
de cuerdas de longitud no inferior a 200 mm. Las piraguas estarán
dotadas de reservas de flotabilidad.
Competitors must use, during all the competition, safety helmet
and buoyancy aid CE approved, or by other similar organisation.
At any moment, the Organization could ask the competitors to show
their proficiency eskimo-rolling and swimming in wave-breaking
conditions. Competitors should be ready to help, if required,
other competitors that might need it. The kayaks must have handles
in each end, or else will have ties/toggles of no less than 200
mm long. The kayaks should have floating devices inside.
* Clase Internacional: Kayaks que cumplan con los requisitos de
Clase internacional. Longitud mínima 3 m, casco convexo y sin
quillas o canales. Altas prestaciones: Cualquier tipo de kayak,
incluso prototipos, que cumpla con las reglas de seguridad.
* International Class: Kayaks which comply with International
Class requirements. Minimum length 3 m, convex hull and no fins
or channels. High Performance: Any kind of boat, including prototypes,
which complies with the security standards.
