Dear Pura Vida World’s attendees,
The World Contest is getting closer, swell season is starting here, and contest organization is progressing.
One organizational item is the host hotel. The WSKA has a commitment with our host hotel to put down a large deposit in the near future in order to secure the entire hotel for us.
Many of you have sent in your deposits and your rooms are secure at the price of $46 per night per room ($23 per person). But, the $150 deposit many of you sent was for one person, not for 2. We probably should have stated the necessary deposit as $300 per room rather than $150 per person.
Those of you who have already booked your room will need to send Neil Kahn the balance of the deposit, and the rest of you will need to find your roommate and send the full $300 per room by July 1.
If you are sharing a room with someone who has already made a deposit, in an email or letter that you send to Neil Kahn. we need you to tell us who your roommate is.
Also please be as specific as possible as to your arrival and departure dates for the hotel.
All reservations not received by August 1st will jump to $56 per night per room, with a $400 per night per room deposit. That will be $28 per person per night for the room.
Get the money in early and get the deal. Rooms are going fast!
