Good News!
The Canoe Association of Northern Ireland (CANI) and WSKA have jointly released news that the 2017 World Surf Kayak Championships will be hosted in Northern Ireland. This is after some discussion, which was helped by CANI delaying their final decision and by the Countries of the WSKA showing they are together and looking forward. Â
We know the people of Northern Ireland will give surf kayakers from all countries a very warm welcome in 2017, and we look forward to seeing you there – for the surfing, the contest, the social occasion and seeing another beautiful coastal region.
The WSKA news also shows progress made in bringing all countries and volunteers together. I thank all these volunteers for offering their time to help make our events competitive, fair and fun.
